Pakistan

Pakistan has four seasons: a cool, dry winter from December through February; a hot, dry spring from March through May; the summer rainy season, or southwest monsoon period, from June through September; and the retreating monsoon period of October and November.

Philippines

Philippines has three seasons: a hot dry season from March to May; a rainy season from June to November; and a cool dry season from December to February. The southwest monsoon lasts from May to October and the northeast monsoon from November to April. Temperatures usually range from 21 °C (70 °F) to 32 °C (90 °F). The coolest month is January; the warmest is May.

Tropical climate with mild winter and hot, humid summer.

Indonesia

Indonesia’s climate is largely hot and humid, with rainfall occurring mostly in low-lying areas and mountainous regions experiencing cooler temperatures. The cities of Jakarta, Ujung Padang, Medan, Padang, and Balikpapan have an average minimum temperature of 22.8°C and a high of 30.2°C. The “wet” season occurs between November and April, leaving May through October typically dry.

Nepal

Nepal is divided into three principal physiographic belts known as Himal-Pahad-Terai. Himal is the mountain region containing snow and situated in the Great Himalayan Range; it makes up the northern part of Nepal. It contains the highest elevations in the world including 8,848.86 metres (29,032 ft) height Mount Everest (Sagarmāthā in Nepali) on the border with China.

Kyrgyzstan

The climate varies regionally in Kyrgyzstan. In the coldest areas temperatures are sub-zero for around 40 days in winter, and even some desert areas experience constant snowfall in this period. In the lowlands the temperature ranges from around −6 °C (21 °F) in January to 24 °C (75 °F) in July.

Ukraine

Ukraine has a mostly temperate climate, except for the southern coast of Crimea which has a subtropical climate. The climate is influenced by moderately warm, humid air from the Atlantic Ocean. Average annual temperatures range from 5.5–7 °C (41.9–44.6 °F) in the north, to 11–13 °C (51.8–55.4 °F) in the south.

Philippines

Tajikistan

The climate in Tajikistan is quite varied, but generally does not offer extreme climate conditions. It is cold and wet with some nice summer months. The warmest and rainiest part of the country is Khatlon.

Russia

Russia's climate ranges from steppes in the south through humid continental in much of European Russia, and subarctic in Siberia to tundra climate in the polar north. Winters vary from cool along the Black Sea coast to frigid in Siberia. Summers vary from warm in the steppes to cool along the Arctic coast.

Thailand

Thailand is divided into three seasons. The first is the rainy or southwest monsoon season (mid–May to mid–October), which is caused by southwestern wind from Indian Ocean. Rainfall is also contributed by Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and tropical cyclones August and September being the wettest period of the year

Malaysia

Tropical season, the Peninsula climate is affected by wind from the mainland while the East weather is more maritime

Azerbaijan

Subtropical climate on most foothills and plains of the country, with nine out of eleven climate zones existing in the nation.

Australia

Australia's climate is generally very pleasant and mild. Most of the country receives more than 3,000 hours of sunshine a year.

China

China goes through the four seasons namely winter, spring, summer and autumn. In November and December temperatures can plummet to well below freezing. Summers, by contrast are hot and wet, with temperatures peaking near 30°C (86°F) during the mid-summer months of July and August.

Cyprus

Cyprus has one of the warmest climates in the Mediterranean part of the European Union. The average annual temperature on the coast is around 24 °C (75 °F) during the day and 14 °C (57 °F) at night. Generally, summers last about eight months, beginning in April with average temperatures of 21–23 °C (70–73 °F) during the day and 11–13 °C (52–55 °F) at night, and ending in November with average temperatures of 22–23 °C (72–73 °F) during the day and 12–14 °C (54–57 °F) at night, although in the remaining four months temperatures sometimes exceed 20 °C (68 °F)

Ethiopia

Ethiopia is in the tropical zone lying between the equator and the Tropic of Cancer. There are three different climate zones in the country and weather varies substantially depending on altitude. The lowlands are generally hot and humid, while cooler temperatures characterize the Ethiopian Highlands.

France

France has four broad climatic zones: the humid seaboard zone west of the line Bayonne-Lille with cool summers; a semi-continental zone with cold winters and hot summers in Alsace-Lorraine, along the rhodanian corridor and in the mountainous massifs (Alps, Pyrenees, Massif Central); an intermediate zone with cold winters and hot summers in the North, the Paris region and the central region; and a Mediterranean zone with mild winters and quite hot summers in the south of France.

UK

The UK is often associated with rain, but this is because the weather can be unpredictable. The rain doesn't come all in one season – it can come at any time of year, and on any day. You might experience beautiful sunshine, blustering winds and drizzling rain – all in one afternoon. In general, the UK’s climate is maritime, moist and temperate, with a moderate annual temperature range.

India

In terms of climate, India can be divided into a number of regions. For the most part, the country has a tropical climate which throughout most of the interior is a mixture of wet and dry tropical weather. In northern parts there is a humid tropical climate and along the western coast lies wet tropical areas. Stretching in a strip up the center of the country is a semi-arid climate, which also stretches across the north-west.

Italy

The climate of Italy is influenced by the large body of water of the Mediterranean Seas that surrounds Italy on every side except the north. In Italy, there are different types of climate: mild continental in the Po Valley, cold in the Alps, Mediterranean on coasts and islands, and finally, cool and windy in the Apennines.

Kazahstan

Kazakhstan has a four seasons, extreme continental climate with hot summers and very cold winters. Indeed, Astana is the second coldest capital city in the world after Ulaanbaatar. Precipitation varies between arid and semi-arid conditions, the winter being particularly dry.

Moldova

Moldova has a climate which is moderately continental; its proximity to the Black Sea leads to the climate being mildly cold in the autumn and winter and relatively cool in the spring and summer.
The summers are warm and long, with temperatures averaging about 20 °C (68 °F) and the winters are relatively mild and dry, with January temperatures averaging −4 °C (25 °F). Annual rainfall, which ranges from around 600 mm (24 in) in the north to 400 mm (16 in) in the south, can vary greatly; long dry spells are not unusual.

Poland

The climate of Poland is temperate transitional, and varies from oceanic in the north-west to continental in the south-east. The mountainous southern fringes are situated within an alpine climate. Poland is characterised by warm summers, with a mean temperature of around 20 °C (68.0 °F) in July, and moderately cold winters averaging −1 °C (30.2 °F) in December.

Romania

Romania has a climate that is temperate and continental, with four distinct seasons. The average annual temperature is 11 °C (52 °F) in the south and 8 °C (46 °F) in the north. In summer, average maximum temperatures in Bucharest rise to 28 °C (82 °F), and temperatures over 35 °C (95 °F) are fairly common in the lower-lying areas of the country.

Saudi Arabia

Desert climate with very high day-time temperatures during the summer and a sharp temperature drop at night, except for southwestern regions. Temperature is temperate in spring and autumn.

Turkey

Turkey goes through the four seasons. The coastal areas of Turkey bordering the Aegean Sea and the Mediterranean Sea have a hot-summer Mediterranean climate, with hot, dry summers and mild to cool, wet winters.

United States of America (USA)

Includes most climate types due to its large territory. Humid continental in the northeast, humid subtropical in the southeast, semi-arid for the Great Plains, alpine climate in the mountain area of the west, arid in the Great Basin, desert in the southwest, Mediterranean in coastal California, oceanic in coastal Oregon and Washington and southern Alaska, subarctic/polar in most of Alaska, tropical in the souther tip of Florida, Hawaii, and U.S. territories in the Caribbean and the Pacific.

Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan has an arid and continental climate characterized by large variations in temperature within days and between seasons. Large parts of the country (79% by area) feature flat topography either in the form of semi-desert steppes or desert zones, including desert areas in the far west that have formed as a result of the drying of the Aral Sea.

Vietnam

Tropical climate in most regions, but Northern Vietnam is considerably a subtropical region having a mild winter (or dry) season.
